Education

From 2007 year – student of Biology faculty of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

2009-2012 years – student at Department of Genetics and Biotechnology of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

2011 year – had an internship in B.P. Konstantinov Nuclear Physics Institute of St.Petersburg (Gatchina, Russia).

2012- acquired Master's of Sciences degree. Master's Thesis "Characteristics of the neuromuscular junctions and learning capacity in Drosophila melanogaster lines with functional changes of swiss cheese gene", scientific supervisor Dr. N. Matiytsiv.

From 2012 year – Ph.D. student at Department of Genetics and Biotechnology of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (Scientific supervisor –Dr. Chernyk Ya.I.). PhD's degree work: "The role of the swiss cheese gene in the development of neurodegeneration and formation of neuromuscular junctions and behavioral reactions of Drosophila melanogaster".

 

Scientific interests: Drosophila neurogenetics, morphological characteristics and genetic regulation of brain degeneration, behavior of flies, neuromuscular junction's formation and functioning on the larval stage in Drosophila
